TL;DR
Configuration Management Engineer (Software Engineering): Leading and improving configuration management practices, software traceability, branching strategies, change management, and automation across engineering workflows with an accent on Git-based version control, scalable processes, and CI/CD. Focus on translating business needs into structured system requirements, enabling AI-driven solutions, and supporting complex engineering environments.
Location: Lund, Sweden; onsite five days per week

What you will do
- Lead and improve Configuration Management practices across the organization.
- Drive software traceability, branching strategies, and Change Management processes.
- Support automation in the Configuration Management domain, including CI/CD and AI-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and support Configuration Management-related topics.
- Translate business needs into structured and scalable system and process requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with Configuration Management and software traceability in large-scale environments.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git; Gerrit knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with Change Management, automation, branching strategies, and requirements management.
- Ability to translate business needs into system and process requirements.
- Understanding of documentation practices and a strong quality mindset.
- Availability for onsite work in Lund five days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience in complex engineering environments, preferably automotive.
- Knowledge of KDP, CarWeaver, ConfigHub, Teamcenter, or Artifactory.
- Understanding of product structures, Product Configuration, and Change Order Management.
- Experience assessing how tools and process changes affect engineering teams.
