Finance Manager (Sports)

Salary: $108,000 - $135,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the month-end close process, including accruals and account reconciliations across all sports divisions.
• Manage the end-to-end invoicing cycle for 300+ clients, including distribution and collections follow-up.
• Prepare weekly cash flow schedules and support rolling forecasts.
• Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with financial advisors on remittances, disputes, and tax documentation.
• Partner with FP&A to build financial models and support annual budgeting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience with a strong command of AR and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Must possess work authorization in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data.
• Strong communication skills for working with agents, advisors, and senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a sports agency, talent management, or professional sports organization.
• Familiarity with athlete contracts, NIL deals, and commission structures.
• Experience with Airtable or other workflow/database platforms.
• Experience supporting union reporting or multi-entity financial environments.
