What you will do

• Monitor manufacturing processes daily to identify trends and provide urgent solutions.
• Lead process area responsibilities for yields, documentation, and technical innovation.
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment issues and process drifts.
• Develop and maintain weekly/monthly performance indicators for quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and international plants to resolve process problems.
• Implement new products and process changes as directed by R&D.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Glass Science, Ceramic, or Metallurgical) from an ABET accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a complex manufacturing process (internships included).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work on a pre-determined rotating on-call schedule and provide off-hours support.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• 3-5 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or SAS.
