What you will do

• Take end-to-end accountability for the global Fixed Asset Register and technical accounting compliance.
• Lead the month-end close process for fixed assets, lease accounting, and consolidated reporting.
• Re-engineer asset-tracking workflows across IT, Operations, and Country Control teams.
• Design and implement automated internal controls to eliminate reporting inefficiencies.
• Act as the subject matter expert on capitalization criteria and asset lifecycles.
• Serve as the principal lead for external auditors regarding group investments and year-end disclosures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Control, Group Accounting, or Audit management.
• Deep practical knowledge of IFRS or Dutch GAAP.
• Proven track record of designing and monitoring internal control frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and enterprise-grade ERP systems.
• Fluency in English is required for stakeholder management and alignment.

Nice to have

• Professional qualification such as RA, RC, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Experience with Workday ERP.
• Affinity with AI-building solutions.
