Location: Must be based in London, UK. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office for the first 6 months, transitioning to at least 2 days per week thereafter.
Salary: £57,000–£75,000 per year.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using C#.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services like Lambda, Fargate, and DynamoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems in the financial services domain.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes using PostgreSQL and Aurora.
- Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions to maintain high engineering standards.
- Contribute to the evolution of the codebase towards a distributed, resource-efficient architecture.
Requirements
- Must have legal permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
- Mid-level experience in product development with generalist knowledge of software design and agile practices.
- Proficiency in C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with TDD, CI/CD, and modern architecture patterns.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in London.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, transparent mindset.
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and distributed systems.
- Background in financial services or regulatory technology.
