What you will do

• Design, build, and test world-class, scalable, resilient, and secure software.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to the team, owning complex technical problems.
• Write well-tested code and maintain high standards for code quality and system design.
• Collaborate with user experience specialists to design, implement, and improve product user experience.
• Take ownership of significant projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery of tangible business value.
• Actively engage with users to understand product usage and bring customer empathy into engineering decisions.

Requirements

• Expertise in modern .NET/C#.
• Ability to design and build scalable, resilient, and secure systems, considering trade-offs and future implications.
• Experience with unit testing, performing code reviews, and maintaining high standards for code quality.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing.
• Thrives in a highly collaborative agile development environment, fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Ability to work in a flexible-hybrid model with likely weekly office visits, requiring travel to/from an office in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience developing applications using React.
