Senior Software Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is building an Engineering Enablement team focused on internal tools, shared services, and platform capabilities that improve software delivery.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship internal developer tools and shared platform capabilities.
• Lead complex engineering work from problem identification through delivery, evaluating solutions and coordinating stakeholders.
• Contribute to resilient architecture, CI/CD, observability, documentation, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers through technical discussions, reviews, and clear documentation.
• Explore thoughtful and responsible uses of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET or TypeScript, including designing and building REST APIs.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Strong continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Ability to contribute to system and architecture decisions focused on resilience, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience taking significant engineering work from idea through delivery autonomously while engaging stakeholders and other engineers.
• Strong communication and an enabler mindset, including explaining technical decisions, creating documentation, and mentoring others.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or another PaaS cloud environment.
• Experience building internal developer tooling, shared engineering services, or reusable platform capabilities.
• Experience with observability, metrics, data analysis, or shared engineering tooling.
• Experience with event-driven architectures or more than one programming language.
• Experience contributing to engineering standards and technical direction across teams, or supporting engineer recruitment and onboarding.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude, with an understanding of their benefits and limitations.
