What you will do

• Build internal tools, services, and infrastructure to support engineering teams.
• Act as a technical lead to design and deliver platform capabilities.
• Lead complex features from conception to completion with high quality.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with Principal and Lead Engineers on system architecture.
• Write and maintain tests throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Strong experience with continuous delivery practices and shipping quality code.
• Ability to contribute to system architecture decisions focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Strong communication skills for documentation and technical proposals.
• AI-conscious mindset with experience using tools like Copilot.
• Experience with observability, metrics, CI/CD, or shared developer tooling.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in .NET and C# with REST API design experience.
• Experience with Azure PaaS environments.
• Background in recruiting and onboarding engineers.
• Interest in abstracted system-level thinking over specific tech stacks.
