TL;DR

Senior Tax Analyst (Finance): Managing income tax compliance, tax provisions (ASC 740), and indirect taxes for a multi-state publicly traded environment with an accent on GAAP principles and SOX controls. Focus on driving process improvements through automation, AI, and ERP system optimization.

Location: Eagle, Idaho. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

What you will do

  • Prepare quarterly and annual US tax provisions in accordance with US GAAP/ASC 740 and perform required SOX control procedures.
  • Manage income tax compliance, including Consolidated 1120, 1065s, multi-state reporting, and tax credit calculations.
  • Review and file monthly, quarterly, and annual gross receipts, sales and use, and personal property tax returns.
  • Collaborate as a cross-functional partner with operations, accounting, finance, internal audit, legal, and treasury teams.
  • Develop and enhance tax processes through automation, data analytics, and the leverage of AI and ERP tools.
  • Provide work direction and technical guidance to junior tax accountants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Tax.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Demonstrated expertise in GAAP principles and tax research.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data science.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and project management skills.

Nice to have

  • CPA certification.
  • Public accounting or Fortune 500 company experience.
