Compensation: $200,000–$250,000 + equity + comprehensive benefits

What you will do

• Manage U.S. federal, state, and local income tax compliance and indirect tax obligations.
• Oversee quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740.
• Lead international tax planning, transfer pricing, and foreign tax filings.
• Evaluate tax implications of new market entry and legal entity formation.
• Build scalable tax processes, controls, and documentation from scratch.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR on equity compensation and global mobility tax matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s in Tax preferred).
• CPA required.
• 7–10+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 and in-house roles.
• Strong expertise in corporate income tax, ASC 740, and sales & use tax compliance.
• Experience in tech, AI, or high-growth startup environments.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with international tax concepts like transfer pricing and foreign subsidiaries.
• Experience implementing tax technology solutions and improving data flows.
