What you will do

• Lead and perform peer reviews of federal, state, and local payroll tax filings to ensure accuracy.
• Manage quarterly and year-end tax processes, including W-2 preparation and filing amendments.
• Research and resolve complex tax agency notices, discrepancies, and historical payroll tax issues.
• Oversee payroll tax accounts and maintain compliance with evolving jurisdictional regulations.
• Manage relationships with third-party payroll tax vendors to ensure service quality.
• Analyze and report on payroll tax compliance metrics to support internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of payroll experience, with at least 5 years focused specifically on payroll tax.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, auditing, and reconciliation.
• Experience with Workday and tax configuration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage third-party vendor relationships.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity within a 50-mile radius of PA, DE, WV, or NY offices.
