What you will do

• Catalog NASA crewed spaceflight still images within the internal media asset management system (Imagery Online).
• Research customer requests using internal NASA Johnson Space Center databases and external sources.
• Assist customers in locating and obtaining still imagery in both digital and physical formats.
• Perform departmental tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
• Stay updated on ISS activities and mission progress through lectures and webcasts to ensure accurate cataloging.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Clear Lake, Texas.
• Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or 6–12 months of relevant work experience/training.
• Strong attention to detail for consistent application of metadata with minimal errors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint.
• Ability to type at least 40 wpm.
• Basic understanding of NASA, JSC, and the International Space Station (ISS).

Nice to have

• Master of Library and Information Sciences (MLIS).
• Experience with media asset management systems and metadata principles.
• Extensive knowledge of NASA human spaceflight missions.
