What you will do

• Gather and translate business requirements into structured metadata and data glossary definitions.
• Extract, analyze, and enrich metadata from complex data sources using SQL.
• Support data lineage, data quality, and enterprise data catalog initiatives.
• Develop AI prompt strategies for metadata retrieval and validate AI-generated outputs.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical program staff to explain complex data concepts.
• Develop and deliver training to promote data literacy and adoption of analytics tools.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis or data-focused analyst roles.
• Strong expertise in metadata management, data glossary development, and data lineage.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex data environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and capable of hybrid work in Austin, TX.
