What you will do
- Own the Pureplay vertical against growth targets by leading retail media and trade marketing strategy and planning across the full marketing funnel.
- Act as the senior retailer-facing marketing lead: build and deepen relationships, shape joint plans, and unlock opportunities with retailers.
- Sense-check and align strategy with Sales & Analytics and Sales proposals, ensuring joined-up plans across promotions, launches, SKUs, volumes, and marketing investment.
- Develop and own digital-channel Joint Business Plans with Sales; align plans with Brand Media and Integrated Marketing Communications to maximize total marketing investment impact.
- Drive commercial growth through retailer campaigns and propositions, including social-first collaborations (influencer, organic social, affiliate) and retailer-owned media activations.
- Lead performance and measurement: manage multi-million-pound marketing budgets and ensure accurate weekly reporting to leadership.
Requirements
- Experience in retail, trade, or channel marketing, ideally in pureplay, e-commerce, or marketplace environments.
- Proven brand-side experience (in-house for a brand/manufacturer) with strong retailer and/or agency background.
- Strong understanding of full-funnel retail media planning and the digital shelf (e.g., PDPs, brand stores, search and content) to guide specialists.
- Proven people leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing a team with empathy.
- Strong budget planning and reporting experience owning significant (multi-million-pound) marketing budgets.
- Excellent stakeholder management across local, regional, and global leadership and senior retail/agency partners.
