What you will do

• Develop and implement media strategies to support company objectives.
• Manage relationships and pitch stories to German and international media outlets.
• Draft press releases, op-eds, briefings, and reactive statements in English and German.
• Monitor media coverage and provide analysis to internal stakeholders.
• Support major announcements, media events, and leadership engagements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to showcase technology, partnerships, and impact.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in communications, journalism, or media relations.
• Professional experience within the defence or security sectors.
• Native-level fluency in both German and English.
• Proven track record of securing coverage in the German and European media landscape.
• Experience in crisis communications and managing high-stakes media moments.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling messaging.
