Scientific Communications Manager – Beauty Care

Location: Schwalbach GO & Tech Center, Germany; hybrid work arrangements with some travel required

What you will do

• Translate product science, clinical evidence, safety, sustainability and technical superiority into accurate narratives for Beauty Care brands across Europe.
• Build relationships with dermatologists, professors, healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and scientific partners, particularly in Germany.
• Partner with R&D, Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Brand, Sales, customer teams, agencies and regional or global partners.
• Develop science-led claims, demonstrations, benefit visualizations, FAQs, concept-sell materials and launch-readiness content.
• Build an evergreen pipeline of expert-led digital content and reusable assets.
• Represent scientific expertise in media interviews, PR events, customer meetings, influencer engagements and expert forums.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related technical field; a PhD is advantageous.
• Strong scientific or technical foundation and the ability to translate complex science into accurate, compelling narratives.
• Ability to build trusted external networks and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong business and outcome orientation with excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
• Native/C2 German and strong English skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience in scientific, medical or science communications, technical storytelling or expert engagement.
• Experience in pharmacy, dermatology, R&D, Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Product Research, Engineering or related fields.
• PhD or relevant experience in a technical discipline.
