Technical Project Manager (Nuclear)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Manage technical requirements, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks for assigned technical project scope.
• Lead project teams in planning, tracking, and executing scope from initiation through turnover.
• Align project activities with Triad prime contract and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) requirements.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards within the program area.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, support departments, and matrixed resources.
• Monitor program budgets and determine service levels and enhancements.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Prior nuclear experience is required (specifically within DOE Hazard Category 2, Security Classification 1 facilities).
• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 12 years of related DOE nuclear experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.
• Experience managing D&D, construction, testing, and turnover in a nuclear environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), such as serving as a Control Account Manager.
• Prior experience working under DOE O 413.3B requirements, including Critical Decisions (CDs), TIPR, ICE, EIR, and APR.
• Experience in work control, hazard management, radiological or operational activities, and quality assurance.
• Expertise in resolving complex technical and regulatory issues within an NQA-1 program.
