What you will do

• Hold commercial responsibility for the product line, including sales, margins, and earnings.
• Supervise the team and foster the professional growth and development of employees.
• Define and implement the product roadmap based on market trends, customer requirements, and technological developments.
• Evaluate customer inquiries for technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and strategic fit.
• Perform market and competitive analysis to identify growth potential and new business opportunities.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from series production readiness through to end-of-life.

Requirements

• Degree in physics, precision engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in product management for optics, imaging systems, or complex technical products.
• Proven leadership experience managing interdisciplinary teams.
• Industry knowledge in optics and machine vision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
• Knowledge of forecasting, KPI management, and product lifecycle management (PLM).

Nice to have

• Industry knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing.
