TL;DR

Systems Technician (Sports Technology): Managing replay technology and software delivery for the NFL Remote Centre with an accent on system configuration, network testing, and live match monitoring. Location: On-site in New York (NFL Office, 345 Park Avenue, Midtown Manhattan)

Salary: $30 per hour

What you will do

  • Manage replay technology and software delivery for NFL services during game weeks.
  • Perform pre-match planning, including testing and configuration of software and network infrastructure.
  • Execute mandated system checks and monitor live feeds and system functionality during games.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software performance issues in real-time.
  • Liaise with match officials, host broadcasters, and internal Hawk-Eye teams.
  • Handle post-game protocols and document technical issues encountered during operations.

Requirements

  • Technical grounding with a degree in computing, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and efficiency in a high-pressure, live broadcast environment.
  • Must be available to work weekends, midweek evenings, and public holidays as per the NFL fixture list.
  • Strong time management skills and a proactive attitude.

Nice to have

  • Experience in networking, broadcasting, or live event production.
  • Passion for sports and specific knowledge of the NFL.
