TL;DR

Investment Analyst (Fintech): Managing and evolving discretionary portfolio offerings with an accent on product governance, asset allocation, and portfolio implementation. Focus on designing managed portfolios, producing investment management MI, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Location: Hybrid (Manchester). Must spend a minimum of 50% of working time per month in the office.

What you will do

• Design, manufacture, monitor, and maintain hirify.global managed portfolios and funds.
• Implement strategic and tactical asset allocation and handle product governance (IPS design).
• Produce capital markets assumptions reporting and investment management MI.
• Collaborate with the Research function to devise portfolio implementation strategies.
• Manage fund trading, model updates, and produce regular investment literature.
• Mentor future departmental employees and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an analytical role within financial services or the investment industry.
• Relevant Level IV QCF Qualification (or working towards it in the short term).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking mindset.
• Advanced report writing and data storytelling abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
