What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronic, mechanical, and custom-engineered components.
• Manage supplier relationships, commercial agreements, negotiations, and performance improvement plans.
• Identify cost-reduction, value-engineering, and supply-chain optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with planning, operations, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to maintain material availability.
• Assess supply risks, implement mitigation plans, and support continuity of supply.
• Support new product introductions, supplier onboarding, procurement data management, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Commercial acumen with supplier negotiation and relationship-management experience.
• Knowledge of procurement principles, sourcing methodologies, and supplier performance management.
• Experience purchasing technical products, components, or materials.
• Ability to analyze spend, identify savings opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, procurement metrics, and stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• CIPS qualification or progress toward CIPS qualification.
