Assistant Financial Controller

TL;DR

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable and receivables to ensure bills are paid on time and incoming payments are recorded accurately.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly financial closing across the group and help finalize accurate, timely financial statements.
• Prepare quarterly financial reports for partners by compiling and analyzing financial data.
• Oversee employee expenses and prepayment cards, including issuance, reconciliation, and processing reimbursements.
• Update the ERP system with bank, supplier, and client transactions to keep financial records current and correct.
• Support subsidiary finance teams with ad-hoc requests and help manage fixed assets and inventory.

Requirements

• Experience managing accounts payable/receivable and supporting financial close activities.
• Strong ability to produce accurate financial reports and complete checks within agreed timeframes.
• Hands-on experience working with an ERP system for bank/supplier/client transaction updates.
• Competence in fixed asset and inventory management and accurate accounting treatment.
• Ability to reconcile employee expenses and prepayment cards accurately in accounting software.
• Ability to complete grant reports with supporting documentation within agreed deadlines.
