TL;DR

Transaction Lawyer (Real Estate): Managing legal aspects of Joint Venture and cross-border real estate transactions across the CEE region with an accent on structuring, due diligence, and negotiation. Focus on coordinating with investment teams and external counsel to ensure compliance with group requirements and commercial goals.

Location: Must be based in Poland, Slovakia, or the Czech Republic. Regular travel within the region and to Helsinki, Finland (10-20% of time) is required.

What you will do

• Handle legal work for JVs and cross-border real estate transactions in the CEE region from initial structuring through closing.
• Collaborate with CEE Investment and local teams to ensure transaction structures align with Group requirements.
• Draft and review joint venture agreements, shareholders' agreements, construction contracts, and land purchase agreements.
• Instruct and manage local external counsel to ensure quality and cost-efficiency of transaction documentation.
• Advise business stakeholders on structuring options, legal risks, and contractual matters in practical terms.
• Contribute to the development of legal templates and processes for the CEE region.

Requirements

• 4-5+ years of experience in transactional legal work, specifically M&A, real estate, or joint ventures.
• Law degree from Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, or another European jurisdiction.
• Strong working proficiency in English (C1).
• Hands-on experience with project financing and working in multi-jurisdictional environments.
• Commercial approach to legal work with a focus on finding practical ways forward.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex discussions.
