IP Counsel (Video Games)

What you will do

• Provide practical legal advice on intellectual property, copyright, marketing, software compliance, IT contracts, and general commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate IP, IT, licensing, creative services, talent, and other commercial agreements.
• Manage contract processes from initial drafting and negotiation through execution.
• Support the Group Legal Department and business units with day-to-day legal matters.
• Improve standard agreements and legal processes across the group.
• Track legal developments and trends in the video game industry and coordinate with external counsel in the US, UK, and Canada.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in intellectual property and IT law, preferably at an international law firm.
• Polish Bar membership as a legal advisor or advocate is required.
• Strong knowledge of civil law, copyright, IT-related law, and intellectual property issues in the video game and technology sectors.
• Demonstrable experience preparing and negotiating commercial and technology agreements.
• Experience working in an international, fast-paced environment and independently prioritizing legal and business risks.
• Full professional proficiency in English, written and verbal, is required.
