TL;DR

Senior Onboarding Analyst (Fintech): Leading and optimizing the onboarding and due diligence process for complex corporate clients with an accent on KYC, AML, and risk management. Focus on deconstructing complex corporate structures, identifying UBOs, and implementing strategic workflow improvements for high-value enterprise clients.

Location: Hybrid in Cape Town, Bulgaria, Spain, Poland, or Malta

Salary: €30,000 – €50,000

What you will do

  • Lead and optimize end-to-end onboarding and due diligence for high-value, multi-jurisdictional corporate clients.
  • Deconstruct complex corporate structures to accurately identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) and Directors.
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct advanced screening and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media.
  • Design and implement strategic process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship for merchant onboarding across the hirify.global platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B corporate customer onboarding within payments, fintech, or crypto.
  • Strong understanding of KYC/AML onboarding practices and experience with high-risk industries.
  • Proven ability to manage various legal entity types, including trusts, foundations, and partnerships.
  • Strong research and analytical skills for assessing complex corporate documentation.
  • Fluent English (C1+) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Cape Town, Bulgaria, Spain, Poland, or Malta.
