What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of seven analysts, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
• Manage prioritization and stakeholders across diverse bank functions, including credit strategy and product performance.
• Maintain and evolve reporting infrastructure utilizing dbt models, Tableau dashboards, and Python-based automated MI packs.
• Lead a strategic initiative to address dashboard sprawl, ensuring governance, trust, and compute-cost efficiency.
• Define and execute the vision for an AI-powered BI future, including the implementation of a semantic layer and natural language querying.
• Partner with analytics engineering and data engineering to design scalable, well-governed BI solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a BI or analytics team in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Fluency in SQL, Python, and Tableau (or equivalent BI tooling).
• Experience with modern BI approaches and tools such as dbt, Streamlit, or LookML.
• Strong capability in stakeholder management and articulating a strategic BI vision.
• Must be based in London to support a hybrid work arrangement.
• AI fluency with a track record of using AI tools to improve operations or deploying AI-powered data products.
