What you will do

• Define system architecture and subsystem specifications for embedded electronic systems.
• Design and optimize multi-layer, mixed-signal, and high-speed PCB and FPC layouts using Altium or Cadence.
• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for ARM Cortex-M, RTOS, and Linux environments.
• Implement control algorithms (PID, closed-loop) and integrate communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, BLE).
• Collaborate with mechanical teams on FPC integration, stack-up, and packaging constraints.
• Work with EMS partners for manufacturing and DFM optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 7–12 years of experience in embedded systems development and electronics design.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in PCB design (schematic capture and layout).
• Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium, Cadence) and high-density interconnect (HDI).
• Strong skills in Embedded C/C++ and Python scripting for automation.
• Must be based in the USA (Bay Area, CA or Redmond, WA).

Nice to have

• Experience with rigid-flex PCB design, including stack-up and mechanical constraints.
• Expertise in high-speed design, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Exposure to the full product lifecycle, including DFM, manufacturing, and validation.
• Prior experience working in cross-functional global teams.
