What you will do

• Design, prototype, and validate hardware systems to capture logistics data from physical assets and field infrastructure.
• Integrate sensors, embedded devices, communications modules, and power systems into field-ready deployments.
• Write firmware, scripts, and test tools to validate devices and support integration with the platform.
• Collaborate with software engineers to define device protocols, telemetry formats, and data models.
• Develop test plans for sensor reliability, power consumption, and environmental performance.
• Debug complex issues across hardware, firmware, networking, and mechanical integration layers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in hardware engineering, embedded systems, or firmware engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience integrating sensors, embedded devices, and power systems into complete systems.
• Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software boundaries.
• Experience writing firmware or scripts for device integration, diagnostics, and telemetry.
• Strong debugging skills across firmware, drivers, cabling, and signal quality.
• Ability to design for real-world field constraints including ruggedness and power management.

Nice to have

• Experience with defense, logistics, or industrial field-deployed environments.
• Familiarity with vehicle or industrial interfaces and protocols.
• Programming experience in C, C++, Rust, Python, or Go.
• Knowledge of military or industrial standards like MIL-STD-810 or IP ratings.
