Senior Application Engineer (Wireless Connectivity)

Annual base pay: €55,650–€103,350

What you will do

• Support customers throughout product planning, design, development, and certification.
• Create embedded code examples, application notes, user guides, and quick-start materials for wireless applications.
• Support solutions involving Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, wireless MCUs, location technologies, asset tracking, and wireless sensing.
• Analyze signals, troubleshoot issues, and optimize wireless performance.
• Collaborate with IC design, software engineering, marketing, and customers on product evaluations and new product definitions.
• Contribute to embedded intelligence and machine learning solutions at the edge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong Python and C programming skills, including C development on embedded systems.
• Experience with embedded or real-time operating systems.
• Understanding of DevOps and signal processing fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of machine learning fundamentals and edge AI concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth direction finding, ranging, or positioning technologies.
• Experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, and wireless signal analysis or debugging tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks or embedded machine learning applications.
