What you will do

• Build and maintain features for UDS product components including Registry, Zarf, and Foundry.
• Design and implement scalable technical solutions for denied, disrupted, intermittent, and limited (DDIL) environments.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into production-ready code.
• Debug, optimize, and support production systems as part of a shared 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Contribute to open-source ecosystems and maintain technical documentation such as designs and runbooks.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 3+ years (Mid) or 5+ years (Senior) of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go or other modern programming languages.
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts such as Controllers, Operators, and CRDs.

Nice to have

• Experience with supply chain security, including SBOMs, signing, and scanning.
• Contributions to CNCF, ASF, or OpenSSF open source projects.
