TL;DR

Senior People Operations Specialist (HRIS/Payroll): Managing France payroll governance and optimizing HRIS workflows within an international scale-up environment with an accent on automation and data-driven decision-making. Focus on transitioning the People Ops function into a strategic business partner through analytics and process excellence.

Location: Hybrid in Paris or Bordeaux, France (4 days on-site per week)

What you will do

  • Own France payroll governance for 400+ employees, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Act as the functional expert for HRIS (BambooHR), designing and optimizing automated workflows.
  • Develop HR dashboards to monitor headcount, turnover, and payroll costs using AI and automation.
  • Lead international People projects, including HRIS rollouts and process harmonization across EMEA.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and People Partners to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, or Payroll Operations.
  • Strong expertise in French payroll processes and personnel administration.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS, Excel/Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
  • Professional-level English (C1 level required).
  • Experience managing HR projects in an international environment.
  • Must be based in Paris or Bordeaux, France.
