What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers, supporting continuous learning and improvement.
- Design, build, and maintain features for User Domain and HRIS integrations handling millions of user records.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and align on priorities.
- Own modules end-to-end from design through deployment, including code reviews and ensuring quality and reliability.
- Architect and optimize secure, highly available microservices using cloud and event-driven patterns; monitor performance and improve scalability.
- Set technical direction and drive cross-team engineering improvements with strong documentation and technical decision-making.
Requirements
- 9+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Top-level programming skills in Python or Go.
- Expertise with microservice architecture and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP strongly preferred; AWS acceptable).
- Ability to create technical design documents aligned with architecture standards and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
