What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship high-quality technical solutions for Git storage services.
• Document architectural designs and validate approaches through prototypes and experiments.

• Coordinate with product owners to define and deliver cross-functional projects.
• Maintain live services on a rotational, on-call basis and implement mitigations for complex performance issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• 7-9+ years of experience in software engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Go, Rust, or Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and large-scale architecture.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
• Excellent written communication skills for an asynchronous, distributed environment.
