Process Engineer (Power Generation)

What you will do

• Develop mechanical designs, equipment lists, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
• Prepare technical specifications and sizing calculations for gas compression and power generation equipment.
• Perform engineering analysis, research, and equipment selection.
• Provide field installation, pre-commissioning, and start-up support.
• Ensure mechanical designs comply with industry standards and client specifications.
• Coordinate with 3rd party OEM packagers and contractors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within oil & gas, power generation, or mining.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment and off-highway design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Aspen, and SolidWorks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Experience with natural gas compression equipment.
