What you will do

• Assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical sub-systems for sputtering equipment following schematics.
• Install critical components including vacuum chambers, pumps, valves, and control panels.
• Perform functional and quality checks to ensure equipment meets manufacturing standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and support equipment upgrades or conversions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive build improvements and reliability enhancements.
• Lead junior team members to ensure tasks are completed according to schedule.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment assembly or troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with sputter PVD equipment and vacuum systems.
• Proficiency with tools such as torque wrenches, multimeters, and vacuum gauges.
• Must be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and open to 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends.
