What you will do

• Own and maintain sputter equipment performance to ensure uptime, quality, and OEE targets are met.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize unscheduled downtime.
• Develop, execute, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Analyze process and equipment data to identify trends and implement engineering solutions for yield and cost improvement.
• Develop and update SOPs, PM procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Mentor technicians and promote the use of AI-driven tools and digital solutions for predictive maintenance.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering or maintenance within semiconductor, media, or vacuum environments.
• Strong problem-solving capability with a structured approach to root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with equipment control systems, automation, and standard engineering tools.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure to vacuum systems, sputter equipment, or thin film processing technologies.
• Knowledge or interest in applying AI/analytics applications for equipment performance improvement.
