What you will do

• Assemble, align, and integrate mechanical and electrical sub-systems for sputtering equipment based on schematics.
• Install critical components including vacuum chambers, pumps, valves, and control panels.
• Perform functional and quality checks during and after equipment installation.
• Support troubleshooting and rework for both mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive build improvements and reliability enhancements.
• Lead junior Engineering Specialists to accomplish assigned tasks within the required schedule.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment assembly or electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with sputter PVD equipment and tools such as torque wrenches, multimeters, and vacuum gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments and with vacuum systems.
• Open to transitioning to 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs.
