TL;DR
Group Manager, Product (Marketplace): Leading the strategic vision and execution of the Core Marketplace, specifically Search, Discovery, and Product Recommendations with an accent on balancing monetization with user experience. Focus on managing a team of Product Managers, optimizing the find-to-order conversion funnel, and aligning cross-functional efforts between Engineering, Design, and Data Science.
Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX (2-3 days onsite per week)
Salary: $163,716 - $180,744 per year

What you will do
- Own the Core Marketplace roadmap, driving innovation in Search, Discovery, and Product Recommendations.
- Balance revenue goals (Ad Units) with consumer experience to ensure user retention and journey fluidity.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers, establishing standards for product specs and data rigor.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data Science leadership to ensure technical feasibility and algorithmic accuracy.
- Develop business cases and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
- Utilize quantitative research and marketplace analytics to refine the find-to-order conversion funnel.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience with a focus on high-traffic marketplaces.
- 2+ years of direct people management experience.
- Deep expertise in at least two of the following: E-commerce, AdTech/Monetization, or Search/Discovery platforms.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Austin, TX.
