TL;DR

Agentic Automation Tech Lead (MS Power Platform & Copilot): Leading the technical execution of enterprise automation programs using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem with an accent on designing and deploying AI-powered Copilot agents. Focus on establishing delivery frameworks, governance standards, and managing the full delivery pipeline for large-scale enterprise clients.

Location: Must be based in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, or Adelaide, Australia

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Design and deploy Copilot agents and AI-assisted workflows integrated into Microsoft 365 and Teams.
  • Establish Power Platform delivery frameworks, governance standards, and CoE practices, including ALM and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage the full delivery pipeline from requirements and architecture through to deployment and hypercare.
  • Mentor and develop a cross-functional team of automation engineers and business analysts.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to client stakeholders and navigate complex architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in automation, consulting, or technical leadership roles.
  • Proven experience with enterprise Microsoft Power Platform deliveries (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, custom agent design, and topic architecture.
  • Track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams on client-facing engagements.
  • Strong ALM and CI/CD knowledge using Azure DevOps.
  • Must be based in Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, or Adelaide).

Nice to have

  • Microsoft certifications: PL-400, PL-600, or AI-102.
  • Experience with AI Builder, Azure OpenAI, or Cognitive Services.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for automation performance reporting.
  • Programming experience in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python for custom connectors.
  • Background migrating legacy RPA workflows (UiPath, Blue Prism) to Power Automate.
