What you will do
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets from inception to completion.
- Lead and oversee project engineers, acting as a people manager by providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, managing communications and addressing roadblocks throughout the project life cycle.
- Implement formal change control processes to prevent scope creep and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor risks and conduct post-project evaluations to drive continuous service improvement.
- Analyze profitability metrics and resource allocation to drive overall MSP growth and department success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of project management experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and PSA tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure principles and ITSM frameworks.
- Must be based in the United States.
