Senior Product Designer (eCommerce)

Senior Product Designer (eCommerce): Designing and improving critical user journeys for a mobile-first cannabis marketplace with an accent on data-driven decisions and user-centered design. Location: Hybrid in Austin, TX (2-3 days onsite per week)

Salary: $121,409 - $153,180 per year

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product, Data, Research, and Engineering teams to identify needs, define requirements, and ship world-class user experiences.
• Create comprehensive design artifacts including information architecture diagrams, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Maintain and push the boundaries of the corporate design system across both web and mobile platforms.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative data and analytics to make informed, objective design decisions.
• Participate in discovery and usability studies with research partners to ensure work is grounded in user insights.
• Engage in group critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve product quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX to accommodate the hybrid work schedule.
• 5+ years of professional experience in end-to-end product design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating human-centered designs and clear individual contributions.
• Proven ability to lead medium-to-large sized projects independently.
• Experience designing and conducting usability tests and using analytics for data-driven decisions.
• Expertise in working with design systems.

Nice to have

• Meaningful experience in B2C eCommerce and/or B2B SaaS.
• Knowledge of front-end coding concepts such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Design Thinking and Design Sprints.
• Passion for and knowledge of the cannabis industry.
