What you will do

• Analyze equipment utilization and WIP flow to support capacity planning.
• Assist in transitioning new processes from R&D into manufacturing.
• Participate in Kaizen events and document standard work (SOPs, work instructions).
• Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and OEE data collection.
• Utilize AutoCAD for factory layout updates and improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.

Requirements

• B.S. in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience (internships included) in semiconductor, optics, or advanced manufacturing.
• Foundational understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Exposure to SPC, OEE, DOE, or other statistical methodologies.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar layout tools.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation tools like FlexSim or Plant Simulation.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Excel, or Python.
• Lean or Six Sigma training (Green Belt).
• Exposure to automation systems (AMHS, AGV, OHV).
