Developer Intern (Go/TypeScript)

TL;DR

Developer Intern (Go/TypeScript): Building connective tissue between hirify.global and the broader software ecosystem by developing the Integrations Marketplace and public APIs with an accent on API design, security, and developer experience. Focus on implementing REST/gRPC services, creating a TypeScript/React frontend, and improving SDKs and CLIs.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States or Canada)

What you will do

• Build features for the hirify.global Integrations Marketplace using a TypeScript/React frontend and Go backend.
• Design and implement public-facing REST and gRPC APIs for external developers and partners.
• Write clean, well-tested code with a focus on API contract design and system reliability.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ship integrations end-to-end.
• Iterate on the developer ecosystem based on real partner and developer feedback.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Availability for a 4-month term from September to December 2026.
• Strong willingness to take on new challenges and see them through to completion.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment with ambiguity.
• Collaborative mindset and receptiveness to feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience building or consuming REST or gRPC APIs.
• Familiarity with identity protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, or SCIM.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, or Go.
• Interest in developer tooling, SDKs, and platform engineering.
