What you will do

• Manage the full Canadian accounting lifecycle for complex VC and PE funds.
• Collaborate with fund accounting teams to support quarter-end and annual close processes and audit documentation.
• Define and execute a roadmap for product enhancements and AI-enabled automation to scale capabilities.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Canadian fund accounting team.
• Partner with Go-To-Market strategy on customer scoping, implementation feasibility, and solution architecture.
• Provide institutional-grade operational rigor to ensure accuracy and timeliness for all Canadian clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in VC or PE Canadian fund accounting.
• Expertise in IFRS, ASPE, and Canadian GAAP.
• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to analyze complex position and cash reconciliations.
• Proven ability to build and scale processes while controlling for risk and improving efficiency.
• Ability to represent the company as a Subject Matter Expert in the back office operations of Canadian funds.
