What you will do

• Deliver comprehensive fund accounting and administration services, including NAV preparation, custody servicing, and investor reporting.
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of Fund Accountants to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to facilitate the NAV completion process.
• Review and approve fee schedules, waterfall calculations, and investor allocations in compliance with fund documents.
• Manage AML requirements and handle all client queries to ensure high satisfaction.
• Develop fund-specific procedures and participate in system initiatives and technological improvements.

Requirements

• University degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in the fund administration industry.
• Proven experience in managing staff and leading a team.
• In-depth knowledge of fund structures, fee calculations, and financial instruments.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada to support local office growth.

Nice to have

• Experience with fund accounting software such as Geneva, Investran, or Yardi.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg.
• Professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA or equivalent).
