Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 CAD base + performance bonus + equity

What you will do

• Perform daily and monthly financial operations tasks including reconciliations, transaction monitoring, and cash movement reviews.
• Support fund accounting processes such as deposits, withdrawals, and account activity updates.
• Investigate and resolve operational breaks, data discrepancies, and failed transactions.
• Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual work and strengthen operational controls.
• Build and maintain Excel-based tools, macros, and Python scripts for reporting and operations.
• Utilize AI tools for research, coding support, and process improvement.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in financial operations, fund accounting, or investment operations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA/macros.
• Working knowledge of automation and coding, specifically Python.
• Practical experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis and workflow redesign.
• Understanding of fund accounting concepts, investment transactions, and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on process improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, wealth management, or brokerage operations.
• Familiarity with investment accounting systems like IRESS or NDEX.
• Experience working with APIs, CSV files, and multi-system data transformations.
