Software Development Engineer (AWS)

Location: Hybrid (Dublin, Ireland). Most days are spent in the office with core hours from 10am to 4pm.

What you will do

• Build and evolve in-memory data store services compatible with Valkey, Redis, and Memcached.
• Design and architect high-availability distributed services optimized for sub-millisecond latency.
• Proactively investigate operational gaps, root-cause issues, and implement permanent fixes.
• Participate in team-wide design reviews and collaborate on the direction of NoSQL systems.
• Manage day-time on-call responsibilities on a rotation (typically every 2-3 months).

Requirements

• Professional software development experience (excluding internships).
• Experience designing or architecting systems with a focus on reliability and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews.
• Knowledge of source control management, build processes, and testing operations.
