What you will do
- Process assigned CCS/HIM tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with client protocols.
- Evaluate medical documents and electronically file them into patient charts.
- Use client EHR software and internal systems to complete tasks (including e-filing, order/referral management, insurance verifications, and prior authorizations).
- Handle high-volume, fast-paced work while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Track completed work by logging time and transaction counts on an hourly basis as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines; report HIPAA violations and follow required procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to adapt to company-specific software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to efficiently navigate multiple open programs and applications.
- Ability to perform physical tasks (sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, standing, walking, driving) and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to fulfill responsibilities in a remote capacity with access to strong, reliable internet in a designated, secure, private workspace.
