Field Engineer (Medical Imaging)

Compensation: $36.01 - $48.01 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain CR & DR X-ray imaging equipment, radio fluoroscopy equipment, laser printers, and networks.
• Manage customer relationships through proactive site visits and timely communication with stakeholders.
• Independently diagnose and resolve complex electronic, mechanical, and networking problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, field change orders, and installations at customer sites.
• Ensure all activities adhere to state and federal regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a field service environment.
• Proficiency in computers and networking, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and site drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record compliant with Fleet Policy.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally over 70 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with X-ray or complex medical devices.
• Prior knowledge of Carestream equipment.
