Field Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Must be based in the NYC territory (Brooklyn or Queens), USA

Salary: $33.00 - $48.00 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain laser printers, networks, CR & DR X-ray imaging, and radio fluoroscopy equipment.
• Manage customer relationships through proactive visits and timely communication with stakeholders.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and Field Change Orders (FCO) independently.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electronic, network, and mechanical issues.
• Generate service revenue by offering solutions aligned with the service portfolio.
• Mentor others and collaborate with the regional work team to improve processes.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent (BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or 4+ years in the electronics industry.
• Proficiency in computers, networking, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record compliant with Fleet Policy.
• Must reside within the NYC territory (specifically Brooklyn or Queens).

Nice to have

• Experience with X-Ray and complex medical devices.
• Prior knowledge of hirify.global equipment.
