What you will do

  • Repair precision surgical instruments with guidance from Field Service Technicians II and senior technicians.
  • Manage on-site repairs, maintenance, and testing of assigned instruments and equipment.
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine proper solutions using strong problem-solving skills.
  • Produce timely daily work orders and update customer reports as needed.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, manage customer expectations, and make appropriate recommendations based on customer requirements.
  • Partner with sales teams to grow business in the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Basic mathematical skills for calculations and interpreting bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in the Quality Manual.
